MSU Meridian – Master of Science in Nursing

Offering graduate nursing degree opportunities for non-nursing professionals.

Mississippi State University received approval to admit the first students into a newly-created Master of Science in Nursing degree program at MSU-Meridian.

The program is Mississippi’s first direct-entry MSN that allows college graduates holding non-nursing degrees to enter the nursing profession and become candidates for Registered Nurse Licensure.

This empowering grant is designed to support individuals with bachelor’s degrees to become registered nurses and practice at the bedside. It offers a beacon of hope, a chance for personal growth and development, with twenty scholarships to be awarded based on specific criteria: completing the FAFSA, submitting required documentation demonstrating a disadvantaged background according to NIH guidelines, and Mississippi residency.
